The notebook "Discoverers. Child and the surrounding world. Observation album. 6-7 years old" is part of the preschool education program "World of Discoveries" (scientific supervisor L. G. Peterson).

Observation is one of the most important ways to get acquainted with the world of people and nature. The tasks in the album will suggest what can be the object of observation for a 6-7 year old child, help organize it in an interesting and correct way, taking into account the child's age and individual characteristics, interests, teach to find answers to questions through observation. By recording the results of their observations in the album, the child learns about the surrounding world, seeks answers to many questions, enthusiastically observes natural phenomena, and what is happening around.

All tasks in the album are of a comprehensive nature: they form scientific ideas about the surrounding world, develop cognitive-research activities, imagination, thinking, enrich speech, cultivate a caring attitude towards nature.
The observation album you are holding in your hands was created to:
- give you ideas about what can be the object of observation for a 5-6 year old child,
- give advice on how to organize observation in an interesting and correct way, taking into account the age and individual characteristics of the child, his interests,
- suggest how to teach a child to find answers to their questions through observation,
- show how observation can be the basis for the development of speech, cognitive interests and the need for exploring the surrounding world, nurturing love for nature, accumulating bright images, impressions, information, sensory experience,
- provide the child with the opportunity to capture important observation results, relive pleasant moments of communication with nature and with you.
