Director's methodology of Meyerhold. Tutorial

The book is dedicated to the study of the directorial methodology of V.E. Meyerhold in the aspect related to the principles of forming the director's plot of a performance. The research subject is the montage methods of structuring the action, where plays written according to one dramaturgical law are taken for staging, while the composition of the performance is built on other dramaturgical principles, mainly montage ones. The problem of using montage techniques in the Master's theatrical art is studied in close connection with other components of Meyerhold's theatrical system, taken as a whole. It meets the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard of Higher Professional Education and the professional qualification requirements. It is addressed to students of secondary specialized educational institutions.
