"Dinka Says Goodbye to Childhood" is a continuation of the well-known autobiographical story by V. A. Oseeva, "Dinka". The action in the first book takes place after the 1905 revolution. The second book introduces readers to the fate of Dinka, her friend Lenya, and other characters during the years of the First World War. The story is filled with dramatic events, in which Dinka plays an active role. The character of the heroine still retains much of Dinka the girl, but she now looks more seriously at life, and her kind heart matures.
Recommended for middle school age.
