Interest in steganography has emerged in the last decade and is driven by the widespread use of multimedia technologies. Steganography methods not only allow for covert data transmission, but also address challenges such as robust authentication, protection of information from unauthorized copying, tracking information distribution over communication networks, and searching for information in multimedia databases.
This book aims to fill the existing gap in this field. It summarizes the latest research results of foreign scientists, examines both theoretical and practical aspects of steganography, provides a classification of steganosystems and embedding methods, thoroughly investigates issues related to increasing the throughput of the stego channel, ensuring robustness and imperceptibility of embedding, and presents over 50 data embedding algorithms.
