The textbook provides tasks designed to reinforce theoretical knowledge of digital image processing in OpenCv. The initial sections contain tasks dedicated to fundamental operations in OpenCv, such as reading and displaying images on the screen, saving images to a file, and resizing images. Many tasks, such as image discretization and quantization, are intended to demonstrate the theoretical foundations of digital image processing. The main focus of the textbook is on the digital processing of binary images, which are most commonly encountered in technical applications. Tasks are provided for obtaining geometric characteristics of binary images and for geometric transformations of binary images. Various methods for obtaining additional characteristic features of binary images are considered. The tasks cover the application of Sobel, Prewitt, and Roberts methods, as well as discrete first and second-order derivatives for edge detection and gradient detection. The textbook includes tasks for mastering spatial image processing methods, acquiring skills in threshold image processing, and finding and processing contours identified in these images. Practical applications of morphological transformations are also discussed. 2nd edition, stereotyped.
