The book is devoted to the computer synthesis of diffraction optical elements (DOE) with wide functional capabilities of transforming laser radiation and study of the properties of wave fields obtained as a result of such a transformation. Methods of solving the reverse tasks of diffraction are considered: the approach of geometric optics and the scalar approximation of the theory of diffraction, as well as methods of the theory of electromagnetic field. The main attention is paid to the analysis of the diffraction of the electromagnetic wave on the elements of the microoptic and diffraction lattices. New types of doe are considered, forming laser bundles with remarkable properties: laser bundles retain their structure, rotate or periodically self -reproduce. Such laser bundles are used for optical manipulation of micro -objects. DOE on diamond films that are used to convert a powerful laser infrared radiation are also considered. The book has a lot of illustrative material, the results of numerical modeling and experiments with synthesized DOE are given.
