The manual covers modern issues of classification, epidemiology, etiology, and pathogenesis of ischemic heart disease. Special attention is focused on the dietary factors of the etiopathogenesis of this disease. The latest methods of diagnosing the clinical and nutritional statuses of patients with coronary atherosclerosis are outlined. Significant attention is given to non-pharmacological means of prevention and treatment (diet therapy) of ischemic heart disease.
