Dictionary of Voronezh Business Correspondence. 17th-18th centuries. Volume 4

The published dictionary is a lexicographical description of the vocabulary of local business writing in the 17th-18th centuries in the southern Russian regions (Voronezh region), reflecting also the colloquial speech of that time, which is relevant both for the development of Russian historical lexicology and for determining the role of dialects in the formation of the lexical composition of the Russian national language. The dictionary is based on data from manuscript monuments of Voronezh business writing of the 17th-18th centuries of various everyday nature, most of which are introduced into scientific circulation for the first time. The dictionary is intended for philologists, historians, ethnographers, local historians, and all those interested in the historical past of Russia.
