"Dictionary of the regional Vologda dialect in its domestic and ethnographic application" was conceived by P.A. Dylalian as a continuation of the lexicographic description of the North Russian dialects, along with the dictionary of the Arkhangelsk regional dialect in its domestic and ethnographic application "A. Podvyvotsky and the dictionary of the Olonets regional dialect in its domestic and ethnographic use of the city of Kulikovsky, but for a number of reasons this work was not published And it existed only in a manuscript version in a single copy in the archive of the vocabulary department of the "Dictionary of Russian Folk Divine." The inclusion of the richest data of the Vologda dialects within the Vologda province dated to the beginning of the twentieth century, in scientific use as a self -sufficient and complete source, will end (although with a delay of 100 years) a lexicographic description of the main part of the North Russian dialects.
