Dictionary of Russian Folk Dialects. Issue 48. "Urosa-Ushib"

The dictionary records the lexical and phraseological wealth of Russian people"s speech of the XIX-XX centuries. Each word and value are presented with semantic-grammatical, stylistic, expressive, accentological, phraseological, temporal and territorial (geographical) characteristics. The vocabulary is based on direct observations of living speech, the work of oral folk creativity, the works on the ethnography and the history of Russian culture. The special task of the publication is associated with the representation of the cultural and historical background of dialectal words, which makes a dictionary of the monument to Russian folk culture.
