Dictionary of Russian folk dialects. Issue 15. Kortusy-Kudelyushki

The dictionary records the lexical and phraseological richness of Russian folk speech of the XIX-XX centuries. Each word and meaning are presented with semantic-grammatical, stylistic, expressive, accentological, phraseological, temporal, and territorial (geographical) characteristics. The Dictionary is based on direct observations of live speech, works of oral folk art, studies in ethnography and the history of Russian culture. The special task of the publication is related to presenting the cultural-historical background of dialectal words, which makes the Dictionary a monument of Russian folk culture. It is intended for linguists, historians, folklorists, ethnographers, and all those who love and value their native language.
