The purpose of the "Dictionary" is to give, if possible, the most complete idea of the color palette of Brodsky’s poetry. In addition to generally accepted color scheme, the "Dictionary" includes all the names of flowers and plants. The material for the "Dictionary" was all the published poems of Brodsky and his unrelated poems, which became part of the Samizdat four -volume, compiled by V. Maramzin, as well as stored in American and Russian archives. The “dictionary” will allow you to explore the color images in different poetic genres of Brodsky and facilitate the answer to questions about the genesis of the color palette of Brodsky, about the reasons for its evolution in English verses, about traditional and innovation in the color symbolism of the poet
