Diary of a sixth-grade ninja

My name is Chase Cooper, I am 11 years old, and I am a ninja. I used to be one of those skinny kids who loved reading comics and watching old horror movies with my dad until a group of ninjas recruited me into their clan. It was a world full of dangers that I was not prepared for. That's why I kept this diary, to warn other kids how difficult it is to become a ninja.
It was my first week at the new school, and it turned out to be nothing like a typical week for a sixth-grader. I found out that Zoe, my cousin, was in the same class as me. I managed to become friends with a werewolf hunter (even though I didn't want to talk to him at first). I joined a super-secret ninja clan. I failed my first important ninja mission. I found myself in the middle of a scandal that rocked the whole school. I got into a fight with the leader of the ninja clan...
