The concept of aroma is one of the central theories in chemistry, especially in organic chemistry, where the concept of aroma is successfully used to explain (and sometimes to predict) the structure, stability and reactionary ability of organic compounds, as well as for their systematization. In recent decades, the concept of aroma is often used to analyze the stability and reactionary ability of spatial (three-dimensional) structures such as borans, carborates and their derivatives, 7C-complexes of transition metals, full-line and a number of metal-organic compounds.
In the monograph, an attempt was made to summarize the most important experimental and theoretical data on the structure and especially the reactionary ability of polyedric structures, mainly hoglows, carbodes and full -line, from the standpoint of spatial aroma. Particular attention is paid to the reactions of these compounds, which occur while preserving the polyhedric skeleton. A significant part of the data given in the monograph is based on the results of the authors" own research.
