The monograph examines the peculiarities of environmental norms, methods, legal relationships, ensuring their understanding and accessibility, compensation for current and past environmental damage, and the formation of competitive principles of environmental law. It analyzes current legal issues related to the use of natural resources - soil, subsoil, forests, water, wildlife, climate protection considering public access to information about them, land management, the combination of civil and administrative methods of regulation, and the structure of environmental law. The research subject includes systems of nature conservation legislation in some European and Asian countries, its implementation in the Arctic, Baikal, and Crimean regions, in cities and other settlements to prevent and stop environmental violations.
