The textbook provides general principles of developing control programs. The programming methodology in the Sinumerik 810/840D CNC system is thoroughly examined. Examples of control programs are given, including the use of turning, drilling, and milling cycles. The principles of programming and debugging control programs on the WinNC Sinumerik 840D software processing simulator are discussed. The manual is intended for students of higher educational institutions studying in the fields of "Design and Technological Support of Mechanical Engineering Productions" (qualification - bachelor) and "Mechatronics and Robotics" (qualification - bachelor). It can be used for training in colleges specializing in "Machine Building Technology," for professions such as "CNC Machine Operator" and "Machinist (Metalworking)," as well as in CNC machine operator courses.
