Anna Fox lives a hermit in her New York house. About a year ago, she experienced severe stress, so she could not go out. The relatives left Anna, although she talks to them on the phone every day. And yet she wants to believe that life will change for the better. She pains time watching old films, recalls happy days, favorite work ... And sometimes she spies on her neighbors from boredom. Once, new residents appear in a house located through the square: father, mother, teenage son. A prosperous, just an ideal family. But once Anna, instructing the camera lens at the window, sees the scene that shocks her - a scene of a brutal murder. The woman raises the alarm, but the neighbors refute everything that she says. Nobody believes her - neither police officers, nor friends - and her world begins to crumble ... Then she decides to independently figure out where the truth is and where is fiction
