The room of the dead

Winter night on a deserted road, two unemployed computer scientists knock down a person. Near the body they find a bag with two million euros and, without thinking twice, hide with money. The next day, in an abandoned warehouse, they find the body blind from the birth of a girl, a daughter of a secured couple. What if the money was a ransom for the life of a child intended for the kidnapper? Meanwhile, the crime scene looks more than strange, the investigation is overgrown with details that even shock experienced police officers. And soon a message about the disappearance of another girl, this time from a poor family, enters the local gendarmerie. Like the first victim, it suffers from an incurable disease. What role does this coincidence play in the distorted universe of the killer?
