Norwegian police inspector Sarah Goeringen is justified after a year spent in prison on charges of official crime. On the day when she has to be released, a new blow collapses on her: her father was brutally killed. Before his death, he was cruelly tortured, his hands were mutilated, the key was found in his stomach, and the corpse was sprinkled with strange white powder.
