About the book
"Heart of the darkness" - a comic book about fears and phobias in the spirit of the cartoons of Tim Berton or Hayao Miyazaki. Thanks to the play of light and shadow, the authors with each page more and more immerse us in the mysterious gloomy world, forcing us to remember their fears: where do they come from, what are they and how to learn to keep them under control.
Comics talks about a boy named Luke. He is ten years old and he is afraid of everything in the world: a neighboring dog, cockroach, cars, microbes, people, darkness and even his own shadow. But most of all, the boy is afraid of a night stranger - a black man who crawls out of the closet every night and scares him.
Once something strange happened: Luke was able to touch a black man, and he takes the boy into the kingdom of shadows - the world of darkness, whose inhabitants feed on the fears of people. Luke is waiting for a fantastic journey that will forever change his life. He has to meet face to face with all the monsters from his nightmares and overcome all his phobias before returning home.
