In the book "Tales of the Dead Chicago", the traditions of a classic noir detective and stories with ghosts were intertwined. Chicago is a city of winds, the city of Butlegersky and the gangster past, the world"s first skyscraper and low shops of the old quarter, a city of cold winters and steep detectives. His streets are kept by many secrets, some of which are trying to reveal the small detective agency "Private Suini Investigations". His owner Lorein Suini and employees are a former police edward Carter and superstitious Irish gypsies Kit Beer, mainly make ends meet, looking for missing animals and following the wrong spouses. The fact that LO is able to hear the voices of the ghosts, oddly enough, does not make the work of private detectives easier. And Loreina’s kinship with Fariy only creates difficulties for her. But sometimes, among the routine affairs of the agency, real riddles come across: in three stories about the work of "private investigations of Suini" there is a place for the disappearance of a person, mysterious murders and inexplicable suicide. And even the most ordinary things - for example, surveillance of the wrong spouse - can hide something more
