Michael Rogan, an American intelligence officer, was sent to France at the rear of the German army at the end of World War II. Suddenly for himself, Rogan falls in love with his hospitable owner and even marries her. Blinded by his happiness, the scout loses vigilance. As a result, his entire reconnaissance group, including a pregnant wife, falls into the clutches of the Nazis. Upon learning that the Rogan was collecting intelligence in favor of the allies, the Gestapovites were subjecting his wife to severe torture. The scout himself miraculously gets from the dungeon.
