The whole district is shocked by the nightmare events that occurred in the Tower motel. A woman named Amy brutally killed her family, and then committed suicide, leaving a mysterious inscription on the old picture of her mother: "29 numbers". The only survivor is her little daughter Lou, who managed to escape through the window and hide on the roof.
Jason Hawk is taken for the investigation. His wife Margot and her sister Piper were friends with Amy as a child. They loved to play in the Tower motel, where there were always 28 numbers. Jason feels that it was for a reason, and soon he begins to suspect that Margot and Pyper are hiding something
