Vadim Fofilov is a famous documentist reporter, who visited almost all zones of military conflicts from Yugoslavia to Iraq. “Shadows of Mali” is an exciting continuation of his debut novel “Captain Benfica Blade.”
Benfica, the daughter of the Arab Sheikh and a counterintelligence officer, goes to Mali to investigate the murder of his mother. The heroine has to operate in a detachment of rebels fighting against the French occupation forces, local Islamists and various gangs in the north of Sahara.
