The writer managed to twist and confuse the plot in such a way that each new page does not shed light on previous events, but poses new questions - even more unexpected and stunning. The reader is constantly in tension, trying to guess what awaits him at the next turn - another murder, some revelation, life truth with philosophical subtext, a funny joke in the performance of the heroine -optimist or, perhaps, a hot kiss. He feels at the same time Sherlock Holmes, Harkul Poirot and a woman who confused his feelings and relationships. It turns out a complex emotional mix that reaches its peak, but after that the intensity of passions does not fall to zero, but only slightly weakens, leaving in a state of disheveled feelings, sweet anticipation and expectation of something unknown.
An interesting artistic find of Julia can be called the moment with the mysterious manuscript that her heroine Zinaida translates. This is a strange and allegorical text, in which real clues to real events are hidden, but in order to understand what is being discussed, you will first have to figure out a peculiar cipher that the heroine and the reader begin to do very soon. Yes, only every next knowledge is another problem. This is a pattern that is inherent in this novel, not without reason named after a complex card slide
