A special agent Aloisiy Pendergast is forced to agree with the requirements of the new leadership of the New York branch of the FBI: now he, the famous lone agent, should work with a partner. Pendergast and his new assistant Koldmun are heading in Miami Beach, where a series of intelligent murders occurs.
