In this one of a kind, a fantastic detective in the role of the investigator is the world -famous literary hero. Daniel Clger turns to the classic works of Jonathan Swift about the travels of Lemuel Gulliver and complements them with detective episodes, in which Gulliver is investigating bloody crimes that remained unbearable by the will of Swift. The author, who lives in Israel, a poet and writer, managed not only to create a fascinating plot, but also with amazing accuracy to reproduce the language of A. Frankovsky, who is well familiar with the full translation of Gulliver"s travels".
The nature of the detective genre is amazing. One has only to imagine that a criminal mystery lurks in a particular work of world classics, please! Someone, lurking behind the text, suddenly throws you information that you had not paid attention to before. And so this mystery is already visible to you, which you somehow "yawned" during the first reading. In fact, is Bazarov’s death accidentally accidental? And who actually killed the old woman-percentress? And what really is fraught with the past of Captain Nemo, and in general - is he an Indian Dostanian or, nevertheless, a Polish revolutionary?
Why does this happen to the texts that have nothing to do with the genre? Maybe because these works did not accidentally become a world classic. Maybe one of the reasons is their amazing depth, which is akin to the depths of life itself, and therefore there is a place in them
