Georgy Mikhailovich Bryantsev (1904-1960) - a person of really outstanding courage: during the Great Patriotic War he was engaged in the preparation of partisans and scouts, he himself repeatedly carried out tasks in the enemy’s rear. Many combat awards were noted, including the Order of Lenin, two orders of the Red Banner, the Order of the Red Star, the sign of the honorary security officer and others. The author knows perfectly from the inside the work of the Chekists, and the described events are not quite fiction. That is why his works are so interesting: they set out the real episodes of the work of the Chekists to protect our homeland in the most difficult years.
For many years, the black shadow of the fascist occupation sank over Czechoslovakia. But the fight against hated invaders - the struggle is bloody, uncompromising - does not stop for a moment.
