The action of the story “I am from counterintelligence” by famous Soviet writers and screenwriters Alexei Petrovich Nagornaya (1992-1984) and Helia Trofimovich Ryabov (1932–2015) unfolds against the background of historical events of the 1920s. The young Soviet Republic strains forces in one of the last battles of the Civil War - with Wrangel. The main character - the Chekist Marin - must expose the obscenity spy, which made it into the ranks of the Cheka. He fulfills the task, and then penetrates the enemy’s lair to bring the victory of the Red Army closer over the Black Baron. The book also includes the story of G. Ryabov “Man from a photograph” about the elimination of the so-called White Guard conspiracy and restoring an honest name of the OGPU old employee.
The book opens a series of artistic and historical books “Counterintelligence Library”, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the domestic counterintelligence, which will be celebrated in May 2022
