The action of the novel takes place on the sunset of the life of the Soviet emperor Joseph Stalin. But our contemporaries participate in these events.

The scientific discovery turns into entertainment - "Dreamripping", which allows anyone who wants to live the life of a historical character that has attracted, dissolving in his mind and body.
