In the novel by Frank Tilier, “Forest Forests” (2007), the elderly billionaire Arthur Dofr decides with the help of the novice writer David Miller to fulfill a long-standing dream: to resurrect on the pages of the Book of a serial killer, known under the nickname, the number of grams that the criminal carved out of the flesh of future victims. As a result of this strange whim, David with his wife and little daughter, as well as Dofr and his young mistress, should spend a month in a German outback, the heart of a black forest. Cold, snow, lost in a forest more often chalet. The writer with the excitement takes up the story of the murderer-psychopath, but soon everyone becomes clear that something strange is happening in the chalet, and some doors were definitely worth opening
