The expedition to the North Pole will be on the verge of a breakdown due to an incomprehensible disease among people and dogs. When the life helicopter finally arrives, the leader categorically refuses to return back to Svalbard. An experienced policeman fjel, suspecting something was amiss, remains in the polar player camp to go to the pole with them. Plucle and tragic events will lead to terrible consequences.
