The police detective Frey Graffham quit from the London police and moves to a small cathedral town - Lafferton, which seems to be perfect for her - interesting architecture, greening fields and a friendly community. Almost immediately, she pays attention to her boss - the mysterious senior inspector Simon Serreler and is looking for ways to catch his eye more often.
