Dong Si (b. 1966), a native of the Guangsi district in the south-west of China, chairman of the Writers of the Guangsi-Chezhuan Autonomous Region, an employee of the Guangsi University of Nationalities, the winner of the main literary awards of China. The author of the novels “Calling slap in the face” (1997), “Repentance” (2005), stories “Life without words” (1996), “Do not ask me” (2000), “Guess to the end” (2002), numerous short stories and scenes. The heroes of the works of Dong Si are ordinary people from the very bottoms, desperately beating around the place in the sun and encountered the injustice of modern society. The harsh realism of the works of Dong Si is thinly shaded by black humor and an ironic to the absurdity of a plot. The psychological detective “Echo” (2021) was not only a new breakthrough in the work of Dong Si, but also a bright event in the literary life of China.
