Disappearance

Autumn 1942. Left without parents, the sixteen -year -old Aila Kuinn and her younger brother Miles go to the provincial town of Sterling, where they are ready to shelter the family of her mother’s old friend Mrs. Clifton. Before leaving, Aila manages to take with him a mother’s favorite book-the old collection of Shakespeare"s poems-and her engagement ring.
After some time, Aila and Miles understand that something incomprehensible ... and very strange in Sterling. Something that cannot be explained logically.
