February 1945. The senior lieutenant of the Air Force Mikhail Devyataev threatens death in the German camp of Zasenhausen. The brave pilot repeatedly tried to run, but each time unsuccessfully. By chance, he manages to change the status of a suicide bomber to the status of a penaltyman, after which he enters the concentration camp on the island of Uzedom in the Baltic Sea.
