Olivier Nork is a writer, screenwriter, rising star of the French detective genre and, by the way, the police captain, has already gained many fans. During the detention of the drug dealer, the captain of the Paris police Noemi Shasten receives a bullet in the face. Life, love, career - everything rolls to hell, and then they are completely sent out of sight - for seven hundred kilometers from Paris, to the village on the shores of Lake Avalon, to the very wilderness, where nothing happens to the village. It was then that three children disappeared - Alex, Cyril and Elsa. Perhaps the terrible find is connected with one of the missing. But if so, then what happened many years ago and where are two more missing? ..
