Arrow of the Amur, like other works by S.G. Baiborodin is based on real events. The rich experience of detective activity allowed the author to realistically and in detail depict the weekdays of detectives who simply and without bragging perform their work: someone with hard work and perseverance, and someone with a threat, ingenuity and luck.
But any detective is a living person, and nothing human is alien to him. The romance of the protagonist and witness of the crime developing against the backdrop of the disclosure of the brutal murder adds romance to the plot of the work and enables the reader to hope for the luck of the protagonist not only in the disclosure of crimes, but also in love
