The protagonist of Olivier Nork “between the two worlds” is Adam Sarkis, a special military police agent in Damascus. When his family is in mortal danger, Adam sends his wife and six -year -old daughter to Europe, hoping to follow them soon. However, fate decides differently. When Adam is in France, where he was supposed to meet Nora and Maya, he cannot find them anywhere. The most dear people were missing and the chances of finding them in the crazy, cruel world of the emigrant slums are close to zero. However, Adam does not lose hope: he has a photograph of Nora and Maya, he has strange, unexpected assistants, finally, he has a faith that is able to create the impossible.
