Асканио

The plot was based on the memoirs of the famous Italian sculptor of the 16th century Benvenuto Cellini. Together with the students, he goes to Paris and, with the help of King Francis I, receives at his disposal a small Yale castle, where he equips the workshop. The Parisian Prevor, the owner of the castle, is dissatisfied with such a decision, besides, the young Ascanio, the beloved student of Benvenuto, falls in love with his daughter. They, in turn, are fond of the favorite of the king, the Dukend of D"Etamp, for the sake of the beloved, even ready for betrayal. The intricacies of relations and love triangles, unexpected plot turns - there is everything for which we love the books of Alexander Dumas.
