Jules Verne’s novel "Antifer’s amazing adventures of uncle" tells about unforgettable travels in search of treasures and, of course, about brave and strong people.
It all started with the fact that in 1831 one of the richest Egyptians Kamilk Pasha hid his treasures on a desert island. Where exactly - no one knew. And thirty -one years later, in search of the treasure, the retired sailor, Uncle Antifer, went to the company of the best friend, his beloved nephew, an insidious banker and two suspicious personalities, whose purpose is to take possession of all wealth. Will the heroes find the treasures of Kamilk Pasha? And will their life change after so many tests? ..
The book is illustrated by Dmitry Polyakov.
About the illustrator:
Dmitry Nikolaevich Polyakov was born in Penza in 1975. He graduated from the Moscow State Academic Art Institute named after V.I. Surikova. He illustrated dozens of children"s and teenage books. In the series "Country of Adventures" with the artist’s illustrations, Rid Read’s Rida "Sea Wolf" romance was released.
