The story of Andrei Nekrasov (1907-1987) "The Adventures of Captain Vrungel" repeatedly corresponded by the author - his personal circumstances, the political climate in the USSR and in the surrounding world. In 1939, the story for the first time was a separate book. The story of the round -the -world swimming of the Yacht "Bessh" was not only witty and action -packed, not only absorbed the vast seblast folklore, but also satirically described the political map of the world of the late 1930s - with German Nazis, Spanish francists, phalangists of Mussolini and Japanese militarists. The next version of the book appeared in 1958, and now in the vastness of the seas "schools" (according to Christopher Bonifatyevich Linge Gel), already Chancayshists. All these realities and words denoting them are hardly understandable to today"s reader. Therefore, the book (reproducing the author’s version of 1958, but with the new illustrations of the contemporary artist Kirill Chelushkin) is equipped with an extensive - 150 -page - scientific apparatus that explains (and showing comments includes photographs, posters, cartoons), as the first readers of the book saw the surrounding world.
