Design thinking of the Stalin era

The book was based on the materials of the round table "Project thinking of the Stalin era", which was organized by the Institute of Mass Media as part of the scientific and educational forum "I.V. Stalin: myth. Relational. Overcoming "March 5-6, 2003. The authors of the articles of the collection consider the status of sciences (both natural and humanitarian) under the totalitarian Stalinist regime. The main stereotypes dominated in the minds of modern Russian society are analyzed. On the one hand, this is a myth of the heyday of science in the Stalin era, and on the other, about the confrontation between the "honest and noble" scientists from the pressure from the ignorant Stalinist administrators. The authors of the collection examine the design thinking of the Stalin era in the aspect of such problems as the ratio of propaganda and "academism", the political revolution and the scientific revolution, the mutual influence of the totalitarian state and science.
