Design of welding workshops

Information on the classification and composition of machine -building enterprises and workshops, welding production elements, as well as the features of welding on installation sites, are given. Typical schemes and layouts of assembly and welding shops, the principles and methods of calculating the number of equipment, the number of employees, the need for materials and electricity are considered. The connection between the characteristics of welded products and the design features of production is disclosed. Considerable attention is paid to labor protection, fire safety, industrial sanitation. Standardized conditional graphic images of building structures and elements, technological and lifting and transport equipment are given. Information on the basics of designing lean production of welded products is given and examples of resource -saving events for use in welding workshops are considered.
