Russian officers of the XIX - early XX century. There was a tradition to publish the history of his regiment. The total number of shelf stories exceeds two hundred. They traced in detail the combat path of the Guards and Army parts. Usually attached lists of regiment officers and other documents. When writing regimental stories, regferred archives and memories of officers were widely involved. Since most of these materials is lost, this complex of publications is a valuable source to study the history of the Russian army.
