Dermatoscopy atlas

"The 'Atlas of Dermatoscopy', edited by A.A. Margub, H. Malvehy, and R.P. Braun, is the result of the collective work of a number of leading specialists in the field of dermatoscopy at an international level, has been reissued and translated into Russian for the first time.
The atlas is clearly structured - it starts with fundamental sections explaining the physical principles of dermatoscopy, features of the equipment, and the correlation between dermatoscopic signs and histopathological characteristics, and introduces the reader to the basic principles of differential diagnosis of malignant and benign neoplasms according to a two-step algorithm. It then details the most frequently encountered non-melanocytic neoplasms, various types of melanocytic nevi, melanomas, and their differentiation methods. Separate mention should be made of very interesting sections dedicated to the features of the dermatoscopic structure of neoplasms in different anatomical zones, equivocal (ambiguous) skin neoplasms, exceptions from the two-step diagnostic algorithm, the application of dermatoscopy in general dermatology, and the observation of neoplasms over time.
The book will help in mastering this non-invasive diagnostic method for both beginning specialists and experienced doctors, and, most importantly, will improve the quality of medical care provided to patients.
