The book is a convenient practical tool that contains over a hundred different exercises for group work with dependent and codependent clients. Many of the trainings or their prototypes are widely known and used in groups of various orientations, such as gestalt therapy or body-oriented therapy. However, many of these exercises are specially adapted or developed for working with dependent and codependent clients and have already proven their effectiveness.
Engaging exercises, when skillfully used, help create a trusting atmosphere in the group, overcome resistance, and bring about healing changes in the behavior, communication, self-esteem of participants, and ultimately help them overcome drug, alcohol, or emotional dependence.
The collection is of interest to psychologists, consultants, and psychotherapists, educators, and social psychologists, specialists in rehabilitation centers, as well as students and postgraduates.
