The book "Czechoslovak Syndrome" is a collection of works of different genre. These are stories, and diary prose, and essays, and even the play is a gloomy grotesque. All of them differ not only in form, but also in content. The subject of description and research unites them: Czech Republic and Czechs, Russians in the Czech Republic and Czechs in Russia. The idea of all works of the book is also common: friendship and love united and will unite our Slavic states and peoples that inhabit them, and this despite the deep wounds inflicted on these sincere feelings of short -sighted politicians at different historical stages. At the same time, the Russians suffered no less than the Czechs themselves. The book was written not with the aim of starting the old wounds and not at all for the injection of unkind thoughts, but in order to look at the past of the people of two countries in the past, and, peering, to understand each other, forgive and love
