The physician"s full formation is impossible without understanding the molecular biological processes occurring in the cell and beyond. Especially important are the ideas about those structural grounds, that cellular space, where these processes work. The purpose of the atlas is to help students in the practical development of materials of lectures and practical classes in the study of the course of histology, cytology and embryology. The base of the atlas is the original electron microscopic illustrations, reflecting the main (basic) cell functions, the knowledge of which is necessary to study histology. The illustrations are equipped with detailed signatures, to the maximum degree of the term of the term "functional ultrastructure". All terms in the book are given in accordance with the latest edition of histological terminology. A description of modern methods of electron microscopic examination is given.
