In the work, through the analysis of materials from forensic practice, problems of criminal, criminal procedural, and forensic nature arising during the investigation of criminal cases related to offenses under Articles 228 and 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation have been identified and examined. Deficiencies, gaps, and conflicts in criminal and criminal procedural legislation are shown, and directions for its improvement are defined. Proposals for improving the quality of pre-trial proceedings in criminal cases of the considered category are presented. The legislation is provided as of June 20, 2022. The monograph is intended for investigators, prosecutors, judges, lawyers, students, and teachers of higher educational institutions with a legal profile, adjuncts, postgraduates, and researchers. It may be useful to a wide range of readers interested in this issue.
